temperatures
ok, so my tank has a heat lamp on one side that usually reads and average of 85 degrees in the air on that side. On the other side is wat I'm worried about. I bought an uth for that side and the air over there stays at about 85 as well but on top of the bedding its 96 and at the bottom against the glass it was 105. Its supposed to be a "plug and play" heater that doesn't need a thermostat. But those temps seem very high I know it should be 89 on the bedding is that correct? And if so wat can I do to correct it?

Re: temperatures
You need a thermostat.
105 on the glass is way too hot, it shouldnt be over 95 on any item your ball can come in contact with.
What are you using to measure your temp and how is your humidity with the heat lamp?

Re: temperatures
89 is fine for on top of the bedding but the temperature under the bedding is going to be to hot without a thermostat, rheostat, or a lamp dimmer to control the heat pad. Your humidity should be at least 50%. You can ditch the lamp if you can keep temperatures consistent, otherwise you might still need to use it.
