    cant find it

i was curious to see if theres a bp morph that is all white...
    no not the BEL's...

i mean like REAL white - clean, no faded out background colors, just simple pure white...like the white on the pieds.

like you see it and wanna grab the nearest pack of oreos to dip in this cup of milk...

i went to worldofballpythons.com but now i'm starting to think that the only way to get a pure white snake like this was to find a pied that is ONLY white.

    my current collection
    1.2 kiddos
    1.0 better half
    0.1 mojave ball python (Nyx)
    0.1 Dumerils Boa (Hemera)
    1.0 Eastern Box turtle
3.4.? rats (? = litter coming any day now)
    0.1 dutch rabbit (Lucy)

    my "future hopefuls"
0.0.1 pied cockatiel 0.0.1 white bellied caique 0.0.2 guinea pigs

From what I understand a mojave x lesser or lesser x lesser will give you a pure white BEL. It is the mojove x mojave pairing that will give you a bit of an ivory or a "dirty" BEL.

I have researched this a litte bit, and that is the conclusion that I have come up with. Someone else chime in if I am wrong, but I think you can get a white BEL. That is why my next purchase will be a lesser!

    Re: cant find it

Your best bet Is lesser/butter x lesser/butter BEL as far as lucys go, most I have seen are pure white ones, few times resently people have posted some that get some yellow but it seems to be pretty rare.

lesser/butter x mojo I have seen quite a few yellow out and a couple with dirty heads, though I have seen some nice white ones also.

OP I would look into lesser/pieds. They have a chance to get pattern, but a lot of them don't. They have normal eyes though.

There are plenty of non-dirty PURE white blue-eyed lucys, and they all come from butter, lesser, or het russo parents.. and they are the best out there if you want a white snake.

You've probably mostly seen pics of super mojos, mojo crosses, and things involving phantom/special/mystic BELs.

    Re: cant find it

I have two blue eyed leucistics. One is a lesser X mojave, and she is very clean and pure white. My other one is Russo white diamond, and she is not pure white. She has a pale yellow line down her spine, which I understand is typical for white diamonds. Apparently if you breed a white diamond to a lesser, your BEL babies should be pure white, though. I am working on that cross this year.

    Re: cant find it

It does sound like the 100% white pied might be a little whiter than any of the leucistics. My understanding is that a homozygous pied that is also lesser is very often 100% white. Sometimes even a spider pied goes all white but your best chance of 100% seems to be the lesser combo.
