    Found a pretty one herping today!

    Was out turkey hunting today and almost stepped on this guy

    He seems very tame and is a real cuddler He makes a purring sound when i pet him!

    Anyone know what this is?

    Yepper its a pygmy. Funny thing was I didn't think we had them up here in North GA. I've come timber rattlers but not a pygmy...the rattle was soooooo small....

    To be honest - you could not get him to strike....he put up with my minor annoyance like a champ. .BUT - a good reminder to wear good boots in the woods - even in GA...
