Great sign but it always freaks me out

Caught my yellowbelly female laying upside down the other day. This always makes me look twice and maybe give them a poke. After opening the drawer several times and taking pictures she still didn't roll back over. Had to give her a poke. Usually they roll back over as soon as the drawer is opened.

She just layed 11 eggs today.

    Het puma to yellowbelly.

That usually freaks me out too. It just doesn't seem natural to see them laying inverted, gravid or not.

Nice clutch, Marshall! How's your breeding season going so far?

Yeah, I have to give them a poke, too. Reminds me of the relief you get when you wake up a quietly sleeping baby.

Hope you get a clutch full of Pumas, Marshall!

11 eggs!!! WOW!!! How big was she? How heavy is the clutch? Are they all healthy?

    Good luck!

Eggs weighed 1062 she weighed 2279 after laying. All the eggs were good but she still had one in her. She layed it 5 hours later and it was a slug. She is a big girl born in 2002. Produces for me every year. She actually produced my first ever morph an ivory female.
