I love spring...
So with the recent increase in humidity, my girl finally had a good shed, and afterwards has suddenly regained her appetite and ate two mice tonight. I might actually be able to get her up to an appropriate size now! She's been a problem eater since November only eating about one 30g mouse a month(she's a little over 500g). I tried getting her to bigger food, but she always refused.
Hope the warmer weather gets her eating again on a regular basis!

That's great! Hopefully she decides that she's hungry every time you go to feed her . I love success stories

Update: She was still poking her head out of her hide in ambush mode... so she's now eaten 3 mice tonight and has finally curled up in her hide for the night.

As a side note though, she's been squeeking a lot lately. I'm assuming it's just some stuck shed in her nose or something minor, but is there anything that I should be worried about or watch? Humidity has increased lately with the warming weather, but I don't think that's an issue.

Watch for signs of Ri. Whistling is a sign. Mucous as well but since she just shed. I think you have nothing to worry about.

Wooh congrats I'm in almost the exact same situation and really glad to hear yours is eating! Gives me some hope. My male is 1012g and hasn't had a SINGLE meal since dec, but thankfully hasn't really lost weight. Just finished his shed today and I'm planning on offering a small meal to him tomorrow night. Hope his appetites back too.

Re: I love spring...
Yeah, the whistling has made me a little nervous, but there haven't been any other signs of an RI(bubbles or anything like that), so I think it's just shed side effect. She started doing it a day or two before shedding so I'm pretty sure it's related to that.
