    Question about Coconut Husk?

I just bought a bag of coconut husk to help raise the humidity, but it seems so big and chunky, doesn't look very comfy. I noticed someone else on here uses it and posted a pic and their's is more fine and dirt like. Do I have the wrong stuff?

There is the block stuff that you soak in water that is also coconut husk, just more finely shredded. That is more than likely what you want, other than the chunks that you more than likely picked up.

It looks like a brick if you go back to the store. Just a brown brick. Good luck finding it.

I actually saw that there but at the time didn't know which one to get. Do you think I should purate it a little? Do you know if snakes care or not about the texture of what they lay on?

You can shred it a bit, but it won't hold humidity as well as the brick stuff.

I'd just go back and get that instead...
