Nice normal! They have always been my favorite, like a 60's Corvette, some things are better left as classics!
*Note* Miami's are actually a "normal" too! They are just native to a different part of the south than most corns. Hence the name.
Anyways, pretty good advise so far. You said you have one hide? I would add another if thats all you have. Hides should be "snug" and not tight like with a BP. They need a reasonably sized hide but are far less particular than BP's.
Babies are very skittish and some have been known to be biters (AKA Hatelings). This will change around a year old for most with some growing to know you earlier or later. Many people over at a very popular corn snake forum (I'm sure you know what I am talking about) will assure you its ok to hold them on a daily basis for 10-15 minutes and progressing up until the snake no longer is interested in sitting with you. This has worked well for me as well.
