Yes. Not a lot of people like strangers coming into their homes. Its just a safety precaution.

Not strange in the slightest. Unless you guys are friends, I don't see why you would let a stranger come into your house to buy something from you. Seems weird to me but maybe I'm just anti-social.

Not to mention if you're super paranoid about your collection being exposed to something, you wouldn't want another herper to come into contact with them but that's taking it to extreme paranoia I think.

Whenever I sell anything on Craigslist, I have the person meet me at a neutral location or at the very least outside where they can't guess what building or apartment # I'm in.

I have enough money in my snakes that nobody except my close friends know about them and no one at all visits me! If I sell I will meet at a neutral location or ship only. That's for my own safety, my animals safety, and theft purposes. I always have my CCW when I meet on CL stuff too.

    Regards,

    B

Sure. How does he know your an honest guy?

Economy is tough..... I'm sure if people rob old ladies for money I would not put it past someone to come break in your house later and steal your collection.

Sounds silly, but the amount of money people have invested in them, and anyone into snakes know how easily they can be sold doesn't quite sound so silly.

A few people have been over to my house and looked at some of my collection.
    Mike
