Male/Female ball python temperament

Are female ball pythons more moody,nippy and shy then the males.
My males tend to be more outgoing then the females or does it just take longer for the females to gain trust.

I think it depends on the actual ball python's personality, not necessarily the sex. I have a female who warmed up immediately, a male who was the same, and others who take a lot more time to warm up.
