Can you get a full body shot in the sun? Still looks like a normal to me.

How could this have possibly gotten harder.... I swear I see green eyes. That second pic in the sun looks pretty darn green to me. The belly is what's holding me up. The tracks make me wonder just a bit. But the eyes.... She could be a browned out pastel... I can't believe what a debate there is about that girl! Usually it's normal or pastel hands down and very few people disagree. I give up, breed her!

This is all slightly entertaining I really want to say pastel, but obviously I'm no expert. Either way, gorgeous snake.

Stephanie - I have normals that have green eyes. Green eyes don't automatically = pastel.

With so many different opinions on what this snake is, I think only time will tell us the true answer. I will have to breed her out.

She is a long way from 1500 grams. Is it possible she could make that weight by December 2011?

Re: Pastel or a nice normal?

I'm about 1000% percent sure you have a Pastel, hands down, no questions asked. I'm sorry but all of you guys who think it looks like a Normal need to go get your eyes checked...
The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

I'm still not positive either way.

I've seen really yellow normals before that looked remarkably like her, but I've also seen some pastels, what I consider low quality, that look like her.

The only hesitation I have is most low quality pastels at her age have a lot of orange to them, I don't think I've seen a browned out pastel her size that had no orange. That is another thing that makes me lean more towards normal. For her markings to be that browned out I mean, she should have more of an orange base color to her markings, not yellow. If she were bigger and older I'd say browned out pastel, but as young and small as she is, I just don't remember seeing a pastel that brown that didn't also carry the orange color to the markings.

I guess you'll just have to wait and see how she grows. Perhaps as she gets bigger, she'll change and make it easier to tell.
