    He's here!

I finally got my first shipped ball python! I had my doubts and asked for opinions in this thread: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...shipped-to-me. Here are some pics.

    Box from Gulf Coast Reptiles:

    Somewhere in there...

    Snake bag:

2010 Male Hypo Black Pastel (about to shed):

I was surprised that they shipped him without a heat pack. He was a bit cold to the touch, but very responsive (tongue flicking), and was immediately exploring his tub.

Gulf Coast Reptiles was a pleasure to deal with, and the package arrived on time. I am very pleased with the snake, and have big plans for him. I'll get better pics when he's shed and settled in.

Haha, no... too rich for my blood! I actually like the Vanilla Super Black Pastel better. When I saw that, I was like.... "hmmm... for a few dollars more..."

Glad he made it safely and in one piece! Always a good feeling receiving them in good health and all. Good luck with him and your future projects/plans.

    Girlfriends?

    2009 Bell Line Ghost:

2009 Ian G Line Black Pastel produced by Maki! I'll be shooting for perfect-faced Supers:

    2010 Yellowbelly Het Ghost:

The 2009s should be able to go next season. The male Ghost Black Pastel already has some good size (about 300 grams). I debated waiting for a 2011, but this one was too good to pass up, and a huge part of my plans involve having a male Ghost Black Pastel.
