Do BP's know when to stop eating?

I got my BP a little over a week ago. Fed him twice now, and I expected him to go into hiding, but he's still out and about, as if he's still hungry? My husbandry is on par, so I'm just wondering if he'll keep eating if I keep feeding him, or at some point will he refuse?

BP's aren't known to eat more than they are capable of handling, they have more of a tendancy of being picky and not eating as much as you'd like. With that said, a happy BP is generally a hiding BP. What is your setup like, and what are you measuring your temps with? If not already using an IR tempgun, I highly recommend picking one up.

I got two hides, one on hot and one on the cold side. Yeah I have a temp gun, so I've been measuring temps and humidity. He appears to be basking right now.
