I think its better because its not gaping or gasping anymore. I called 4 vets none of them had experience with BK brown snakes as i am the first person to keep them as pets. there care is simple there mostly insectivores they like worm babies eat pin head crickets but they said to keep checking on the snake and to give them updates. im was going to keep it anyways because of severe MBD and other issues so they said if its fine with the lungs then to please give it extra calcium.

Very happy to know he's doing better 
So increasing the temps a little might be all you want to do for now.
Disinfection might be good, but if it's a direct hole into the lungs, we don't want to risk anything for now...
Besides, maybe the problem was the strenght of the bite - compressing the respiratory system... who knows.
