Good news, bad news, and good news

The good news is my normal female laid 5 healthy eggs from a Pastel-Lesser + Lemonblast pairing.

She last shed on 3/16/11 and laid on 4/17/11 so I obviously missed the ovulation, and she never prelay shed for me either.[IMG]

The bad news is that these ticks were found on the same girl 2 days before she layed. I check my snakes very frequently and this girl was purchased last fall at a show as a virgin, captive bred female. I am thinking that this was actually a wild snake and had tick eggs that didn't hatch out until I brought my temps back up 4 weeks ago. PAM to the rescue and will hit it again in 2 weeks along with all other tubs.

More good news is I am glad to see my 4000 gram normal girl hugging away, hopefully she will lay soon and my female morphs will follow suit.
