    No, it is not too late. Some people successfully breed BPs all year round. The snakes that you are getting may or may not breed for you, some just don't right away. It can't hurt to make the attempt, in my opinion.

    In my own experience, I purchased an adult pair that went through the motions of breeding almost immediately, but did not produce eggs for 2 years. I hope that your luck is better than mine was.
