    Question Can I?

    Can I use a radiant heat panel in a tub that is 24x16x6?

    I've kind of been wondering the same thing myself, except the tub that I had in mind is more like 13-14 inches deep. So far, I don't see why you couldn't do it. I'm just thinking that you might have to use a couple of pieces of board laid across the top of the tub as an anchor for the mount screws to screw into. I've been thinking that it might be time for an experiment, when I get some extra cash. I figure if it doesn't work good, I could always use the RHP for a PVC or melamine enclosure.

    I talked to a guy from Pro Products on the phone and he said they are perfectly safe to mount inside tubs and you wouldn't even need a piece of wood, probably just a washer or two. The guy was super helpful.

    He said it would be easier to heat a tub that is at least 12 inches tall also.
