Well, first of all, I really had doubts to mate them because the breeder couldnt let me know if they were in the same clutch because she had several clutches at the same time. So I took the risk, I don't know if it was a wise choice, but I based my judgement on their morphs, they were totally two different morphs. I know this isnt enough proof.. I hope I didn't make a mistake :-(

Since I noticed my female being so hyper, scratching up the floor of her tank I decided to mixed them together, low and behold, they did it!

So, the question is, is she now pregnant? Or Do I need to mate them again? If so How many times?

Second, what should I do next? How long before she lays form the time of mating?

Sorry for the rush, kinda got really excited :-)

    here was the sequence:
1.) When I mixed them on the females tank, there was an immediate neck nip by the male.. then it stopped
2.) The female would raise up her tail albeit as if asking for the male to put it in already :-)
3.) The male seemed lost, as if not knowing what to do and the female made so many attempts to go near the male and lick the males face.
4.) I decided to intervene and put the male on top of the female. After a minute or two, they did it. It so so funny, as the male let go of the neck of the female and closed his eyes during.. ummmm orgazm? :-) lol!
5.) They locked for a about minute + then the female slowly crawled and the lock fell off.

The male had the blackest beard I have ever seen him do after but his skin glowed yellow and his eyes were a bright orange. Clearly signifying success :-)
First off you can get more than just one morph in a single clutch of babies, so your thinking of there 2 different morphs they must be different clutches is incorrect. Second I am hoping that you put some thought into breeding your dragons beyond the "It would be cool" line of thinking. The reason I say this is due to the bold statement in your post. Yes your dragon is now pregnant and I would recommend you not put them together any more. What you should do next is start reading up on dragons and breeding(probably should of done this first ).
A single female dragon can lay anywhere between 15-40 eggs per clutch and anywhere from 1 to 7 clutches per season. So you could be looking at anywhere from 15 to 200 plus eggs and babies from ONE mating... Now your looking at housing, lights, and food for all those babies which can be a pretty penny. Food especially as you will go through 10,000 plus crickets weekly.
She will lay her 1st clutch in a bout 3-4 weeks after mating and continue laying a clutch every 3-4 weeks after that until she is done, which no one knows but her.

Please don't take this the wrong way and I'm sorry if I come off harsh. As I'm all for people trying breeding but you should get as much info about it BEFORE you decide to do it. This is so you can make a informed decision as far as if you are going to be able to care for the animals you produce. Good Luck with your project as you are about 90 days away from a bunch of little pooper's...
