Nice to talk with a fellow owner .. not many around.

I'm beginning to see what you mean. It's not feeding day, but the second I reach for the latches on his cage he's front and center with his head up waiting for food. It's a bit scary honestly lol. He's soooooo interested in everything I do, little bugger just watches me. But he's still calm and sweet out of the cage. I've been using a hook to tap him to let him know it's not feeding time when I'm working in the cage. He seems pretty smart.

I saw one of these at a show and immediately fell in love.

Then I learned the price tag and fell out of love.

    I still lust...

    Look at this iridescence!!!

I had never heard of these before. Amazing looking snake. Kinda like a really low pattern jungle carpet. THis post is kinda old but please post more pics if you get this. I tired googling it but most pics weren't that good.

Their personality is very different from a jungle carpet though. Also, the have the most adorable little bulldog heads.
Here's one recent-ish picture of him. He just shed, so I'll post a couple new photos soon.
Thanks for the nice comments everyone! He's really something special.

No worries, I have the exact same luck. Little buggers decide to shed at the worst possible times.

How do you have your girl set up? I've heard a lot of different things regarding lighting etc. and I'm curious how you do it.

Right now, I have her set up in a 4 foot cage. On paper. I have a over head heat source at 75 degrees. then i have a UAB basking light, only comes on for 6 hours, that gets to about 95 degrees. a couple of hides and water. She gets one medium crawler rat once a week.

When she sheds this weekend I will get some pictures posted.
