I just checked craigslist, and it turns out someone needs some cash by 8pm tonight (that must be when the thugs with the baseball bats come to their door) so they are getting rid of their 984g female piebald for only $200!!! Here is the ad.

But it turns out that when you google "piebald ball python" the person's snake pops up! What a coincidence.

Anyway...I sent them an e-mail and told them I was interested. Let's see what they have to say

BTW -- I know that is a good deal, but how much would an almost 1k g female pie go for?

I wish the deal was legit! My wife is at work and I am at home with our three kids (the oldest being 8), and I would pack up the car with the three monsters and drive the 3 hours roundtrip for that deal!!

I awnsered a cl add on a cheap yb bp. The guy was really cool. I bought a yellow belly,an irian jaya carpet, and a nice bp rack. All for $350. But yellow belly is a little biter though.

I would like to think there is a chance this ad is real, but I doubt it since the pic of the snake popped up on google.

I picked up a small, three year old normal for free last year off of CL. I got her up to breeding size, and I think there is a good chance I will see eggs soon!

Sometimes there are these once in a lifetime Craigslist deals. I bought my Pied Female on Craigslist. I can't remember the weight but I think I only paid $1000 or something like that. I think she weighed 800-1000 grams. I know I even posted about it at the time.

I also rescued a male Pinstripe from Craigslist, he was about 300 grams and I paid $100 for him. He had a few fresh rodent bites I had to take care of. He's fine now.

They're both still here. The Pied should be dropping eggs in another 3-4 weeks.

There are some real wack jobs on Craigslist, but you can find a few good deals too.

Ya there can be good deals on cl. But I'm not sure about this one. The fact that it's a google pic would raise a flag. I'd even look for the true owner of the pic and make sure. 200.00 is a rediculous price for a pied female at 1000g. I just don't see that being on the up and up.
