One thing that has helped me to stay motivated, since I literally feel like punching Tony Hornton in the face sometimes for being such a dousche, is once you get the hang of the workouts, lower the volume and put some music on that pumps you up. Music is a god-send during workouts in my opinion.

It works for me! I wasn't in real bad shape to start, but I haven't seen my abs look this good in years. Good luck, keep at it, and try the music!! (oh, and please don't ever catch yourself crossing your arms and doing the "X" thing. hahaha..
I did it once after giving him the finger! hahaha! It was my second day.
