Re: Prayers Needed For My Mother

She's doing well this morning. She's sitting up in a chair, eating and having a good time. Only issue is her left shoulder hurts because of the incision and operation. Other than that, they say she's doing REALLY sell.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and kind words!

Oh, that sounds AWESOME So happy for you all !!!

You know, they just don't make 'em like this anymore !! Your mom sounds like a tough and strong woman with a great spirit.

My grandma was like that. Went trough a hard life, but nothing could keep her down. She had the BEST sense of humor and her faith and strength never waned.

She was riding her bicycle again 5 weeks after hip replacement at age 75 !! Doctors and just about everyone she met, just loved her She didn't speak one english word (we're german) but when she came to visit me here in the US (she came every year all the way till she was 84) she would go to stores and talk to everyone and make friends everywhere, it was amazing

She came to visit me 4 month after breast cancer surgery. She would swim in my pool before anyone else braved the still cold water and she would be the one getting on the elliptical machine (aka fancy clothes hanger)

I miss her so much still, but a person like that lives on forever in our hearts and minds.

I have no doubt that your mom will recover quickly and run circles around the rest of the family before you know it, LOL.

I'm so glad to hear things are going so well
