Bought a tub...
Well, since Max is moving back to his house as my parents and I move into the apartment (max and i can't afford one yet just not quite there), we bought a tub for him to keep one of the ball pythons in at his house. His cats have a habit of knocking over tanks and breaking them so we thought a tub would be better--not to mention a little easier to find room for.
So, we bought a plastic tub, and a lid. The lid locks on each of the long sides, but not going short ways, if that makes sense. :/
Which means a ball python could easily push up around the middle of the lid and squeeze out the side. Not what we want, obviously.
We don't have room to build a rack system, but what can we do about the tub for now, just individually? Is there anything we can do to secure the lid?
Any advice helps~! Thanks
Shellie

I use luggage straps. I bought mine at Walmart. They are kept buy the luggage... If you look in my gallery you can see them on the top shelf of my black rack. They have worked great for me...

Put holes through the lid and lip of the tub then open up a big paperclip and twist through the hole to keep it secure.

Re: Bought a tub...
Hi,
Bungee cords, binder clips, a shelving unit without enough clearance for the lid to lift.
Bolts and wingnuts.

That's what I did, except I used pipe cleaners/"fuzzy sticks" to secure it.

Re: Bought a tub...
I've found binder clips are the easiest.
