First snake bite! (Teeny bit of blood)
Well technically my second if you count the piercing. ;]
The other day our new burm finally tagged me, he's feisty and snappy, but mostly hisses and huffs when we handle for a few minutes each day. I was adjusting him to put him back in his tank and he nabbed me before I even realized it! lol
It's a teenytiny bite, and it honestly wasn't what I expected from a snakebite. Even though he's pretty small and I know it's going to get worse... I don't see it getting worse than some cats bites I've had. ;]

Two days later and you can barely see it.

Re: First snake bite! (Teeny bit of blood)
Welcome! Grats on getting thru the first bite. I thought exactly the same thing on my first bite. I have had worse from my birds and play fights with my cat. It wasn't at all what I was expecting-sounds weird to say but it was a pleasant surprise sort of..heh

I always suspected a snake bite wouldn't be as bad as some of the more vicious cat-maulings my furry baby inflicts during play. you've both just confirmed it for me.

Re: First snake bite! (Teeny bit of blood)
I've found it really depends on where you get bit if it hurts or not. I've been bit twice by on of my BPs. The first time she got me was on my palm right over the joint of my pointer finger. That hurt like hell. The second time she got me, she decided my arm was food and wouldn't let got. That didn't even hurt. So where you get bit matters.

Re: First snake bite! (Teeny bit of blood)
Hehe, thanks everyone! I can't see this one being my last bite, lol! Bad Dog (what we nicknamed the burm) tried to nab me again yesterday, but missed. He'll probably do the same today!
I'll keep everyone posted. :]
