    Is this a good price?

Found a '10 Spider 66% het pied female for $450...
Does this sound like a good price to gamble with the het?
If i score the het thats an awesome deal...if not, I really only gambled a couple hundred right? then I can just use her to to make bumble bees after I get a pastel male...hmm maybe i just answered my own question lol What do you guys think?

Re: Is this a good price?

I'm no expert and you probably have answered your own question like you said, but I think it would depend on how nice of a spider it is in the chances that shes not het for pied. if you get unlucky and its not het, and youre stuck with a mediocre spider, then $450 may not be worth it.
    0.1 normal - Constantine, 0.1 Spider - Lilu
3.0 doggies -Charlie (rottweiler), Luke (golden retriever), Dallas (german shepherd)
    1.0 Betta fish - Norris
1.0 Rat - Forrest (R.I.P Mook and Milo)
    1.0 frenchman

Well I found some pastel '10 males for $75 so Ill probably get them too right away.
then my breeder collection will soon be...
    1.0 Pied
    1.0 Pastel
    0.2 100% Het pied
    0.1 Spider 66% het pied
    0.1 Normal

I think that seems like a good start for the future breeding seasons. Gives me time to get my stuff together and do more researching.

No pos hets for me either unless I make them or they don't charge a small arm or leg for the pos het part...
