Mercury pied
I was thinking about this project, so I guess I'll share it with any breeders who might wanna try it as well. Since I wont get to try it for quite some time...
From what I understand about genetics (which I'm still working on) then this genetic pool would make a mercury pied...A white and grey snake.
Breed a firemon (cinnamon fire) to a piedbald.
Then get firemon's that are het for pied.
Breed those back together, or breed a firemon het to a pied.
You'd get a chance of makeing a fire super cinnamon pied...or mercury pied.
Again I could be wrong about something but yeah.
So basicly imagen these two snakes, but together.

So a white and sliver/grey snake...sounds pretty interesting to me.
I don't think this has ever been produced however...again I could be wrong about that but who knows.
If any breeders wanna try this go ahead...you may be the first to produce one :3
Also if I'm wrong about any of the genes involved here...feel free to correct me.

that doesn't make a lot of sense. .-.
I supose if you mix a firemonxfiremon there would be a chance of getting something like that....
Again I could be wrong.

I don't think it would be white... we've seen both Super Cinny pieds and fire pieds and neither of them come out white... Another way you could try for this colorations is Super Pewter Pied.

Yeah i was thinking of that as well...but still no one really knows since no one produced one.
also a super pewter pied might be even rarer to get due to the amount of other things you can get from it.

Both the cinny and fire genes produce extremely high white pieds. Combine them, you'll see very little color. Have you seen the pewter pied?

Really...the firepieds and cinny pieds i've seen are medium white to pattern....maybe it depends?
also I haven't seen pewter pieds yet but I'll check em now.

Or you could just make an axanthic pied... you can see some pictures of the ones that Markus Jayne produced at his website. http://www.ballpython.ca/collection/...eaxanthic.html

I would LOVE to see a silver/gray and white snake ... Unfortunately, I agree with others that a mercury pied would likely be all white, or at the very least, extremely high white with only one or two small patches of color.
Most of the cinnamon pieds and combos I've seen have been solid white with only a patch of color on the head. (Though unlike some morphs, it does seem to be a bit more variable ...)
My thought was to shoot for an axanthic mojave pied. The mojave pieds seem to have a good balance of white and color, and the color is a fairly uniform tan/gold ... Strip that of yellow pigment, and I *think* you should get a nice silver/gray.
I've got all the ingredients to make that; now all I need is, what, four generations and probably 12-15 years (minimum) of breeding ...
