    Vivarium for a kingsnake

Plain and simple, I wasnt the most natural look possible. Maintenance is not an issue. I need your suggestions.
The resident will be a California Kingsnake.
    What kind of substrate?
    Types of plants?
If someone could link a pic of an example of a natural environment, that would be greatly appreciated. I'd look for it myself but I don't know what I'm lookin for
    Cheers!

Here is the link to the Kingsnake caresheet. It has a section on caging and substrates. That's the best I can offer since I don't have any Kings.

Yeah, I've read through that a couple times. It pretty much just states that they come from warm and dry climates. So I'm guessing desert type plants?
Also, I have the aspen substrate at the moment, but I can't imagine it'd be good for planting and stuff.

Disclaimer - I do not own these photos. I simply linked to them from a Google search...

Perfect! Thank you! Looks like I need to find a way to grow some prairie grasses...
