Foods for king
So this is my first snake. I'm seasoned in the fish world and a huge concept I've practiced in that is diet variety. Therefore, I'm already weary about just feeding my snake mice for the REST OF HER LIFE!
Is there anything else my snake can eat just to add an interesting variety? I know this may be a stretch but I've come up with a few ideas from what they eat in the wild.
Could she be fed small reptiles like anoles or maybe a wild garter snake?

I varied diet isn't a must, but _I_ agree with it.
My corns get mainly rats, but get the occasional mouse and hard boiled egg slices. You could try anoles if they're not imported, but don't go catch anything or buy something imported; feeding something full of parasites won't do your king any good.

Rodents are just fine, although mine at an iguana once, oopps.

Mice are perfectly fine for the rest of its life.
But if you are going to vary, there is nothing wrong with it. Keep in mind, Kings can't stretch as much as Rat snakes / Corns, so don't go crazy with the size of food. When they are young, there aren't many options other than mice or lizards as far as size goes. Even baby chicks are MUCH too large.

No need for variation if you feed healthy rodents. I've got one now that I produced about 15 years ago that has never eaten anything but rodents. She produces large clutches of healthy babies and has always had an excellent disposition as did her parents and grandparents all of whom were also fed rodents.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?
