neither did i. lol. that's why i bought eight breeder girls my first year all normals. i started with the basics. after that i bought baby morphs and now their raised up.. so next year should be good. next years going to be better but still slow. should have bumble bees, mojaves, lessers, mojave spiders, lesser spiders, enchis (if he ever starts eating again), yellow bellys, yellow belly spiders, spiders, pastels, and normals of course so. we'll see how it goes.
I honestly wish i was patient. if i knew then what i know now, i'd have an awesome collection right now. it's better to wait and watch the little ones grow up and when you produce your first clutch of eggs its more satisfying than like say the way i did it.
like in the last 5 years i've only been able to produce pastels and normals. that's it. this clutch (even though they're just going to be het and not a visable phenotype), its going to be the first time i produced something different than just normals and pastels. so now i losted a girl to breed for next year since im going to give her the year off. i might have to go pick up a few more normal girls. nothing wrong with normals girls though. just gotta put something good to em.
just hang in their though. youll get there. i'm still waiting for my butter female, bumble bee female, lemon blast female, my pastel female, and my yellow belly female to raise up. i still have three years left on them at least most of those girls haven't even hit the 400 gram mark yet and they're 5 months old alrighty.
bumble bee girls 290 grams, the lemon blast is 380, the butters 375. so theyre getting there but still got a while to go yet. can't wait for them to get big though. Ill be able to do countless morphs then. oh and my pastel spector male. he's only 500 grams. i want my males usually around 2 years and around 800-1000grams before i breed them.
alrighty good luck with everything. thanks for all the awesome comments.
Later,
Damen
