    Dinker Project Offspring Photos..opinions wanted

Last year I bred an '09 CH dark male to a '?? dark pet store rescue (she had some scarring and stuck shed, but after a lengthy quarantine she gave me 9 healthy eggs). The female has no known genetic history (hets, parents, etc).

I'd love your opinions on the babies' inheritance based on their features compared to the parents.

The babies are 5 months old today. They are named after brown/yellow Crayola colors (as you'll see in their pics).

Mom will be bred back to one of her sons this season. I'd also like to ask for everyone's opinion as to which of the three sons you'd choose, and why (see next thread).

    Here's Mom:

    Bellies...

All of them have the same general belly patterns: clear with some small amount of speckling near the tail. Here's some examples:

Re: Dinker Project Offspring Photos..opinions wanted

    Thanks all.

I think there is some type of granite inheritance also from the dad. One problem I think I face with the outcome of this clutch is that both the mom and dad have very dark, nearly black ground color. The dad's has a great iridescent property too. I am not sure if the babies are getting it from dad, or mom, or both, because they are all very dark

I kept back the whole clutch. When the females are of breeding size a few of them will be bred back to dad and a few to their brothers to try to figure out what inheritable genetics, if any, are at play.

This season mom will be bred back to one of her sons. I'd love opinions on which of the males people would suggest breeding back and why (color? pattern? etc.) either in this post, or my other post that I made for this particular topic. She didn't ovulate last year until July. The boys should be big enough before then. All three are within about 30g of each other.
    Cheers,
    Jessica Gibbs
