    i'm curious why the inbreeding? doesnt inbreeding lead to health problems & stuff?

    Because they are imported and unknown history parents, the breeding back to parents and siblings is necessary to pair any alleles that the original parents may be carrying for a homozygote. Otherwise you may never get them by pairing the offspring with other animals in hopes that they might be carrying the same genes.

    Because the parents are not related, the inbreeding is less critical. I would not breed F2 offspring together.
