Is there any problems with breeding mice/rats in the snake room?

I'm thinking about starting up a small rat breeding operation in my snake room. Could this cause any problems with my BP's? Like a diminished feeding response due to the smell of rats always being there or anything like that?

I've been doing it for almost three years. The only thing I've ever noticed is that new additions are on edge for a week or so. I still have tough feeders, and ones that never miss a meal, just like everyone else

now the only thing i would have to say is try to keep the rats with water at all times i went out of town for a night and my female rat had her babies and the male rat ate some of them due to the fact they ran out of water so my reptile store told me.
