Re: Victorias Secret...like or not like?

only real "encounter" i had with a VS was when i first met my current bf in a mall, my daughter was 1 at the time & i'd been letting her out of the stroller every so often to stretch her legs while me & my bf talked. the last time i let my girl out she darted into a VS and i got all embarrassed and started with the "oh my god she just ran in the underwear store!" & was laughing.
(i was very modest & had steered clear of those stores cuz their style was too seductive for my taste).
anyways, my bf casually shrugged and said "i'll get her." he walked right in there, picked my girl up and brought her out, not even glancing at all the chonies around him. i melted at the sight of him carrying my daughter out of there, with her clinging to his neck giggling like it was a game.
my bf doesnt really care for the lacy stuff either, and i personally dont feel any sexier if my undies cost $3 on sale at walmart or $40. i'd rather spend that $40 on something else that's necessary then a single pair of underwear.

Re: Victorias Secret...like or not like?

I haven't read through everything on this thread yet, but just wanted to throw in my input:

First time shopping at victoria secret was this year and it was AWESOME. I have a completely weird bra size that isn't carried in any store where I live, so I had to drive an hour away to get to VS, but it was insanely worth it. My boobs are happy and so am I. :] (hope that isn't too inappropriate..but since it's really what we're talking about... lol)

Re: Victorias Secret...like or not like?

Yeah you find me a VS that carries a 42 DD underwire because I don't see it ever happening. If I'm in need of bras its time to drive down to the outlets and pick up a few Bali and playtex. Thankfully they got some sexy styles as well. *evil grin*

For the jaw drop stuff I personally like Fredricks since most of the time they carry my size and their corsets are wonderful! I'm partial to those.

I didn't know VS had a kid section! That's beyond wrong imo.

Also guys- yeah women always talk in details about everything. We have no shame lmao!

Re: Victorias Secret...like or not like?

I can honestly say I have never shopped in VS, as in I have never spent money there. As far as I know no one has every bought anything for me from that store either. I am a 42D....or is it DD...I dunno. I haven't ever been truly sized. Either way I have big ta-tas. I don't really have a body that you would call sexy, so I don't bother shopping for sexy/cute things anyway.

When I was younger I refused to wear a bra until my grandmother forced me to. We compromised on a sports bra and that is what I wore until about a year ago (I'm 23). Regular bras are just uncomfortable to me. Last year, my grandmother bought me some bras that are normal bras (hook in the back) but they have no wires or anything. They are super comfy but they are not a perfect fit.

I would probably buy things from VS if I lost some weight and had a breast reduction. I'm actually considering going ahead with a breast reduction sometime in the near future as these things kill my back.

And, they get in the way. I don't have really big ta-ta's enough for a D cup. They are really only good for a nice bathing suit look. Otherwise, they should be removable or something. A 'night on the town' look. I don't even think they are fun to play with.

Also, what is with the bathing suit selection now? I'm all about showing what I got, but dang. You loose all leverage when you're walking around a pool basically naked. Forget dinner and a movie.

Bathing suits! Ha! I am very modest around the swimming pool or on the beach. I wear men's swimming trunks and a not-so-revealing top. 98% of the time I wear one that covers my belly. And 80% of the time I wear a t-shirt over that anyway.

Hmm. Maybe I should go into a VS just to look sometime.

That's still gorgeous though. We're women, we should look like women. Not a 12 yr old boy. I tried the men's trunks with a bikini top. They just bunch where they shouldn't bunch. And, sagged on my hips. It was either too tight, or falling down. Not a good look for me in public. Lol.
