    Fader and Duper genes

if you paired a super duper pastel with a pastel fader (i know you'd get pastels and supers)
would you be able to tell where the fader gene was?

does anyone know if they're compatible?

Fader is a Dom trait so yes you would if you knew what to look for. Since super pastels also show high blushing it may not be so apparent. By super duper I assume you mean super pastel.

Mark Mandic (Markus Jayne) produces some super pastels he calls super duper. I don't know if he's isolated a gene or its just a line breeding of some REALLY nice supers. I'm guessing that's what the original poster was asking about.

you are correct, i was refering to Mr. Mandics super duper pastel - should've explained myself a bit better

got a male duper (direct from Mark) here, and have put him to a pastel fader
wasn't sure if the fader gene would show itself in the offspring
