From what I hear they are all on their own schedule's. It sounds like mine are exactly in the same situation as yours. Mine all had sheds exactly one month ago and I assumed it was a pre ovy shed but I havent seen any ovy's yet and I dont know an approximate timeline after pre ovy shed and ovulation. Also has she been on the hot spot or the cool side? They generally sit on the hot spot all the time after ovulation. Sorry I cant be more help. Good luck though.
I'm just quoting dome because he actually said pre ovy shed but I think that's what you were asking about sookie?

there really is no such thing as a pre-ov shed. some females will shed before the ovulation a month before or some will shed three months before like mine did. theres no real timeline for a shed before ovulation. as your female is nearing ovulation she will be very distended and swelling. about a day or two after ovulation she will lose this massive swell and go back to how she normally looks. then about 15 days later she'll shed, then a month and you've got eggs.

    hope this helps

Dude thank you so much!! That sounds about what's going on with my female to the "T"! Thanks again!

Sorry but if I can ask one more "?"
How long does an ovulation last? I've been under the impression that it last for 24hrs?
Not nearly 2 weeks :? I'm just worried I might not have warning of eggs and don't want to be caught unprepared!

well this is my first year but my females ovulation lasted about a day and half but she was swelling up for about a week. I think your best bet would be to start preparing for eggs and just get a quick cooler incubator ready or if you have a mini fridge use that. better safe than sorry and having to scramble at the last second.

if you're female is still huge and swelling up chances are shes not ovulated yet and you may not have missed it. from the reading i've done and observations with my female, before ovulation they are huge and massive, after ovulation they lose the huge bulge and take on a more tent-like appearance in that lower third region.

im very glad I could help and I hope everything goes well

good idea my friend. not sure which incubator you plan to buy but I would definitely steer clear from the accutemp/reptipro/think geek mini fridge incubator. I bought the thinkgeek one( they're all the same ) and the temps held pretty decently if you spent a few hours calibrating it. on the other hand the space in it sucks. there wasn't enough room to fit a 6 qt sterilite. needless to say I returned it and got my refund minus shipping. I'll gladly take the loss as long as it means having enough space lol.

    good luck

I was thinking since I'm only gonna have(hopefully) the one clutch to get the little incubator fridge by I think exoterra. Or the reptibator from zoomed.
