They are pretty easy to keep, I keep mine like my cornsnakes as far as temps. No special humidity requirements that I have seen although I do like to mist her cage if I know she is getting ready to shed. They need a larger cage when older since they can get 10' long or more and they grow fast.
Handle them a lot, mine is pretty cage defensive but settles down without too much blood lettingA guess a lot of the asian ratsnakes tend to be like that, although I've seen some big blue beauties that were like cornsnakes, very calm.
Mine is active during the day, out almost all day unless she has just eaten or is close to shedding...and she like to climb. Good eater, never refuses. She either strikes hard or waits until I leave the room.
