    A good way to figure out the temps you need is monitoring the temps with a digital thermometer or temp gun while the tubs are in use. For now setting one sounds like the temps are in a good range, and being taped down all the way prevents cold/cool air from changing the temp of your probe. Use setting one and monitor closely for the first few days your snake is in the tub and you'll be able to see if any changes need to be made.
