    defenetly try smaller mine usually eats small rats the last couple feeds he gave me trouble being defensive and more like curius about the rat??? so i gave him adult mice he didnt even hesitate i gave him two ... hope that helps

    I have a snake that will do that on a constant bases every time food is offered. She will strike at it till she tags it directly in the face then she will rap it. Otherwise she just strikes till the rat turns the way she wants it to.

    Are you feeding her Live, Pre-killed, or F/T? Like others have said offer a smaller size next week after you've given her alone time. Good luck, and keep up posted!

    She finally ate im feeding live but i hold the tail so she gets a head strike.
    she took a adult mouse to im so happy shes eating again!!
