There are youtube videos on how to "pop" ball pythons, but if you're not comfortable doing it yourself you could bring him/her to the vet or a breeder to get probed or popped.

I hope you didn't pay a Mojo/Butter price on what is likely a male normal...
    Lucifer Sam, Siam cat...

Re: New Local Pick up! Mojave or Butter???

At first I thought normal for sure but after looking a little bit longer I noticed how blushed the head looks and the light pattern. Maybe it could be a very subtle Fire???

The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

Not a fire or pastel. Not any morph I am familiar with, but as was stated earlier, vry much worth dinking with.

Just to define normal for someone convinced they have somthing "not normal"

normal=A wild type unproven to be anything genetic.
Its entirly possible thats somthing different, but youll need to breed and prove it out before you can call it anything, but a normal or a dinker

I love the pattern on him/her, but I would definitely say he/she is a normal or dinker project. Normals come in so many colors, patterns, and shades, you'd be surprised that some are "just" normals. I have a normal het pied female who I could put next to a pastel and you would think they were the same morph. Beautiful snake either way! If you are new to balls I would suggest taking it to your local herp vet and having it sexed there. If your're really brazen, you can try to teach yourself on youtube. I just wouldn't try to pop or probe the little fellow until he/she has settled in for at least a week, then after that not more than once every few days because they can become injured. Once you get the hang of it though, it will be much easier for you.
