While DNA sequencing is getting really cheap, it is still not a trivial process, let alone a higher organism such as a ball python.

And even then, there's not much value in sequencing its genome. If you wanted to look at definite hets vs WT you would first have to know what gene was mutated. And identifying the single gene responsible for pastel or albino isn't going to be easy; especially since AFAIK there isn't much, if any, research being done on snake genomes to use as the groundwork.
