Hmm I'm Bad with Prices
So I'll be selling my ball pythons this spring/summer and I've figured out the prices for a couple of them. But I'm not sure what a fair price is to ask for an '09 Yellow Belly female that will probably be over 1,000 grams after her next feeding. I put her and others up for sale, but she's growing so fast it seems like I should take her down for now.
EDIT: And I guess since I'm asking this question, I also have a 2010 female Spider that weighed in at 722 grams yesterday(not empty but probably around 680ish). Any input on a price for her? I'm new to selling BPs, if you can't tell .
Thanks

your best bet would be to go to Kingsnake and Fauna and compair what others are going for.
1.1 Het Albino Ball 1.0 Spider
1.0 Mojave Ball 0.1 Pinstripe
0.1 Honey Bee 0.2 Normal
1.0 Caramel 0.1 Mojave het Caramel

Make sure you sell them for what they are worth to YOU. Use the classifieds as a guide, but don't let others dictate what you sell your ball pythons for.

Depends on the time of year partly.
Both should fall somewhere between $400 and $600 each I'd think depending on quality.

Re: Hmm I'm Bad with Prices
Yellowbellies and pastels seem to be going for about 50 cents/gram, so at 1000 grams, your yellowbelly would go for $500/$600
Your spider girl will probably be in the $400 range. She's a 2010 and spiders are pretty common. It's all about supply and demand. Yes, you can try to sell them for what they're worth to you, but there's also a market value based on supply and demand. Look at the classified sites, but I think my guesses for prices on your girls will be pretty accurate.

Thanks a lot for the input. I'll keep looking around the classifieds, and I'll come up with some prices for them.
