    Questions About Room Temps

I was curious to hear what most keepers have their rooms ambient temps set at. Currently I have a radiant oil heater in mine plugged to a Ranco T-stat set at 80 and the ceiling fan running 24/7 to circulate the air. Is this excessive or do most people run their rooms cooler?

I don't heat my room just a lot of insulation and the racks keep the temp at 72 in the winter months and 78 in the summer.

Winter is 78 with a oiled filled heater, summer is 85/86 without anything (I do not provide a hot spot during the summer)

I do not have my heater on a thermostat except the one in the wall. I use my baseboard incase of big temp drops but a small ceramic heater maintains the ambient temps pretty stable. I keep the room 79-81. I also have found a fan useful in keeping rock stable rack temps/humidity.

I keep my snakes in my bedroom because it already has an extra heater with a thermostat since its over the garage. I manage to keep my room between 78 and 82 at all times.

Oh man people like it HOT! I would die in that heat. My room is about 70 in the winter (with oil heater) and 75 in the summer. I would prefer it to only be 70 in the summer, but I suppose I'll just have to sweat it out for the snakes.

I don't purposely heat my room, but I keep it at about 75 in the winter and 78-80 in the summer. The racks help keep the temperature up.

This is exactly why I posted this question . I was wondering if I was the only one who felt like I just entered the gates of satan when I go in my snake room.
