Pastel, hypo, ghost, albino, and spider always make good "adder" genes.
If you're just starting out stick with the basic less expensive dom/co-dom stuff.
Breeding recessives into any line takes multiple generations and offers less immediate gratification with greater long term potential.
If you can afford a bee that would give you some pretty cool offspring right off the bat. Or, for the cost of a bee you could pick up a nice pastel and a nice spider.
And of course.....
It wouldn't hurt to pick up a couple more 1200+ gram females to breed them to. http://ball-pythons.net/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif
