    I agree with the above posts. I have the separate room, utensils, also if you should try and feed and it's not accepting. Don't feed the prey to one of your established prey. If it's live put it down and freeze it. Or maintain the feeder in a separate feeder cage and try feeding the animal again in a week. I also use rubber gloves on all qt animals. It's just easier for me.
