And I have NEVER seen a 176 grams year and a half BP.

If a BP was fed weekly since that is what she base the age on there is just NO WAY the animal would be 176 grams.

What if I tell you have have the following (among others)

1500 grams female
1200 grams female
1395 grams female
750 grams female

there are 2 2009 , 1 2008 and 1 2007 can you tell me which one is which

Bottom line you cannot guess the age of an animal based on weight or anything else.

So given she estimate a 176 grams BP at 2 years old I would get a second opinion on the sex and have the animal popped.

Doubt your vet have seen many BP period in the last 30 years.
