    Hmmm I had one of those in my backyard a few months ago. Its not a Cottonmouth (thank god) ermm I think I came up with Yellow Bellied Water Snake for me- not 100% positive ID though. Hope this helps!

    Possibly a Mississippi Green Water snake. Pretty cool looking though!

    Don't think it a rat snake, the scales are to keeled.
