Hi guys,
I've got a three-toed box turtle that seems to be stuck inside his own shell. The anterior portion of his plastron is actually stuck inside the edge of his upper shell. He's been trying to work his way out but can only move his back legs. Is there anything I can do for him besides take him to a vet? I would post a picture but it's a classroom pet and I'm still at school.. Thanks in advance.

At least he's going to be okay. I wish we had thought to take a picture, if the vet did (the turtle is still with him) I'll be sure to post it.
