    Leo ovulation?

Our two and a half year old female leo has passed some bloody like material in the last week. She's acting normal with the exception of staying in her moist hide, so we are wondering if she is ovulating and now nesting? She has never been bred and doesn't appear to be egg bound. Any ideas?

I've been breeding leos for several years and have about 40ish breeders currently and I can tell you that none of my animals have ever passed blood or blood like material. Do you have a pic of it? If it happens again I would suggest taking her to a vet.

No pics of the discharge matter, but our vet suggested we just keep an eye on her. If it happens again or she seems ill then bring her in for an exam. Thanks for your reply...

when I was researching "gecko ovulations" i found a few articles that said a female preparing to lay eggs may have a pinkish urate kind of discharge? I wouldn't quote me on that. I've never noticed anything of the sort ever happen. :/
