So many small breeders start out with pastels, breeding whatever they can to develop their lines, or just to have something to breed!
I have several pastels from Nerd/Grazi/Davis/Love/Ian G lines that I interbreed to develop the best color and pattern in my somewhat less than humble opinion.
So.....
Stop being so concerned with the label and work with the animal for it's potential.
Kevin didn't build his name on line alone!
He bred for a specific look in his pastels.
