    Feeding issue

Hey everyone, my little guy is doin good he up to about 275 grams. Ive been feeding him one adult mouse for a while thats 20 grams. I know its too small for him now. Its the biggest mice at petco and i cant find a place online where you can only get a couple instead of a lot of them. Also on the websites the weight varies give or take 10 grams and that would make a difference. can someone help?

are you looking for more mice of this size or are you debating on moving up a size? if a mouse is too small you should probably move up to ratties of appropriate size. and unless you're looking for adult rats, you'll be stuck buying them in them in HUGE bulk packages if youre looking online.

your food should pretty much be as wide as the widest part of your snake, thats been a pretty good guide for me, and even then it can give or take a little bit.

You may be stuck buying from petco or something like that for now . Try searching on craigslist for people that may be selling feeders in your area. I really don't know if you can buy small feeders like mice in small quantities online.

    Check crigslist.

A guy just got in touch with me today after an ad i posted on craigslist. He insit on NOT feeding his snakes f/t so he made a deal with me. I supply 15 rats a month for $45.

Thats $3 a medium rat. Compared to the $6 he was paying at pet store. May be worth a shot..
