    Black Pastel Fire?

While I'm not looking for one in the immediate future, I'm the kind of person that needs to have a tangible goal to save up money. I'm thinking about getting a male for my normal and spider females in the next couple years, and from what i've been looking at ive been thinking black pastel and/or fire... so why not save some time and get a combo of the two?

Only problem is I'm not really finding much as far as prices or availability anywhere. So does anyone know how much would I be looking at? Or would I be better off getting the separately?

    thanks!

you would be better off just getting them separate not many people work with the pairings for those. so they are really uncommon

The combo you're asking about is called a Black Fire and Mike at Constrictors Unlimited has produced them.

I believe there is a pewter fire on kingsnake.

As much as I like fires I'm not sure I'd breed one to a black pastel but that's just me...

Honestly, because it doesn't really have dazzling colors and almost looks "Normal". Not to mention the time/trouble it takes for the investment you wont be making as much on a return if you intend to sell the morph.
But if its for you and its what you want, go for it

    Re: Black Pastel Fire?

lol thanks for the input, i guess it was a strange idea.

It was mostly out of convenience and impatience; i wanted some black bees and i feel like a fire would also go really well with both of my snakes. not sure what fire would do to a black bee but i thought it would be interesting to find out.

I'm looking at pairing my female fire with my BP pewter male next year so I'm hoping to get a balck fire along with the possibility of fires, pastels, b;ack pastels, BP pewter a firefly and, if very very lucky, a fire pewter. Neither of these two were big/old enough this year so fingers crosssed for next season. I'm actuaally looking at that pairing in preference to my male fire but might try both and see what happens.
