    I personally would never leave any of my animals in the house regardless of what the exterminator said. It may be a pain to move your animals, but if you absolutely had to, ask a friend if they would 'babysit' your critters (in cages) and give them some money for it.

    As for the snakes, they are really easy to move temporarily. I keep shipping boxes around for that very reason. Put them in some pillowcases/bags, put them in an insulated paper stuffed box, use a heat pack if you need to, and take them wherever. If you can't take your snake with you to work or wherever you are going, asking a friend to babysit a securely taped box would be fairly easy even if they were afraid of snakes. And give them money for it! It will ease their nerves
